Zesty Pico de Gallo

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe Roma tomatoes, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 small red onion, roughly chopped
  • 1-2 jalapeños, stemmed and seeded
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste

  1. Roughly chop the tomatoes, red onion, and jalapeños into pieces small enough to fit inside the Drawstring Vegetable Cutter.
  2. Place the chopped red onion and jalapeños into the container of the cutter. Secure the lid and pull the easy-grip drawstring handle 3-5 times until they are finely minced.
  3. Add the roughly chopped tomatoes and cilantro to the cutter with the onion and jalapeño. Pull the drawstring 2-3 more times to achieve a chunky, rustic salsa consistency.

Instructions

  1. Transfer the chopped ingredients from the Drawstring Vegetable Cutter into a small mixing bowl.
  2. Pour the fresh lime juice over the salsa and sprinkle with salt.
  3. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients.
  4. Taste and adjust salt or lime juice as needed.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Enjoy!
